The Pemigewasset Watershed is blessed with many fishing opportunities and getting active with the Pemigewasset Chapter is one of the best ways to meet passionate anglers eager to share their knowledge on where to go, how to improve your skills and what to use to find success fishing the rivers and streams we work together to restore. This photo is a wild Eastern Brook Trout from a tributary to the Beebe River.
Listed below are some of our best local and nearby waters with information on the fishing opportunities all around the area. Always be sure to check the state fishing regulations at WildNH.com and never hesitate to attend a Pemigewasset Chapter event to meet people who can answer your questions.
Beebe River

The Beebe River is one of our Chapter’s favorite projects. Years of work by the Pemigewasset Chapter, NH Fish and Game, and The Conservation Fund improved Beebe River habitat by replacing culverts with bridges to repair connectivity to tributaries. Stategic wood additions have also been made to tributaries. Annual stream surveys managed by Plymouth State University allow us to gauge population improvements. The Beebe starts at Black Mountain Pond high up in the White Mountain National Forest and runs for about 10 miles to the Pemigewasset River. About 75% of the Beebe watershed is in protected lands (National Forest and other property owners. You will need to walk a lot to explore the Beebe.
