Eastatoee River
Tip of the week:
Techniques:
double nymph rig with bigger attracting fly followed by small nymph
Small and large flashy nymphs combined or a flashy and natural nymph all fished along the bottom with an indicator. Use a heavy fly as your bottom fly and try lighter weighted or unweighted flies above. Connection can be made by leaving a tag end longer at your leader to tippet connection. Make your tag ends no longer than 2-3 inches to avoid tangles.
Seven-day forecast:
Get out early and fish while the water is cool. Nymph rigs and dry dropper set ups will work best. Terrestrials will be out soon!
