Sponsorship of youth to Barry Conservation Camp
The Pemigewasset Chapter of Trout Unlimited plans to sponsor a deserving youth to the Barry Conservation Camp for fishing week each summer.  Camp dates may vary from year to year, but are normally in early July. Beebe River Conservation Land
In May 2014, The Conservation Fund (TCF www.conservationfund.org) purchased 5,435 acres of forest land including roughly 50% of the Beebe River watershed, and containing 5+ miles of the river.  Since learning of this purchase in April of 2014, the Pemigewasset Chapter of TU worked actively with NH Fish & Game biologists and TCF to assess the property's value as wild Brook Trout habitat.   At o... more

Final act at Exit 31 Project
The "Exit 31" project represents the largest and most involved project the chapter has undertaken to date.  In May of 2012, we put the final touch on the project - planting a pair of "Liberty" Elms at the site.  In the fall of 2012, the project was approved by the EPA as NH's 6th EPA Success Story.

Trout in Classroom Graduation
On May 13th 2013, 432 Brook Trout graduated from the Waterville Valley Elementary School Trout in The Classroom program to the Mad River. About 50 of their schoolmates remained at WVES for graduate studies and were released later.
